Yummy Apple Crisp October 4, 2008

Here’s a great apples crisp recipe for all those New England apples!  

For the Crumb Topping

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter

Combine oats, flour, sugar and cinnamon, cut in butter until course crumbs are formed. (You can used your hands to toss).

4 cups if thin sliced apples – peeled and tossed with mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Place apples in a buttered 8″x8″ pan. Sprinkle with crubms. Bake for 30-305 min at 350 degrees.
